The Hunt: Roblox 20 Jailbreak Quest

The Hunt: Roblox 20 is LIVE from September 17 through September 28, 2026. Finish before the September 28 cutoff or you miss the Jailbreak quest rewards for this anniversary wave. The event sends players into Jailbreak to rescue five nostalgic NPCs scattered across classic landmarks for Roblox 20 /// Quest progress, the A Bandit’s Bandana reward path, and the Guest 417 spoiler/wing style cosmetic. This walkthrough lists every NPC, the fastest travel tips, and common mistakes.

Urgency: you have days—not weeks—after mid-September. Clear the five rescues first, then return to Season 33 contracts. If you are new to the map, skim Getting Started first. Police team plus a helicopter makes this quest dramatically easier than running it as a fresh prisoner.

How to start the quest

1. Join Jailbreak (optionally through the Roblox Event Hub year flow, or jump straight into the experience).
2. Head to the Prison Yard and talk to the event Noob / Hunt starter NPC.
3. Watch the short intro cutscene explaining that 1x1x1x1 dragged old accounts into the map.
4. Your objective: find and rescue five highlighted characters by holding interact (E on PC).

NPCs show a yellow highlight when you are nearby. Use the minimap and landmark memory rather than random circling.

Rescue order is flexible. A clean Police helicopter loop is:

1. Donut Shop → KreekCraft
2. Train Station → Maplestick
3. Jewelry roof → DenisDaily
4. Museum plaza → Jane Doe
5. Prison interior → Guest 417

KreekCraft — Donut Shop

Land or drive to the Donut Shop storefront. KreekCraft stands out front. Hold interact → confirm Rescue. While you are here, remember Donut is also a beginner robbery in How to Rob.

Maplestick — Train Station

Maplestick waits at the Train Station entrance area—the same landmark you use for easy ATMs on the Codes page. Rescue him, and optionally redeem stickers if you have not yet.

DenisDaily — Jewelry Store roof

DenisDaily stands on the Jewelry Store roof. Climb the building side/ladder routes or drop from a helicopter onto the roof deck. Look for the outline before you commit to parkour. After the rescue, you can optionally rob Jewelry if it is open—just finish the quest interaction first so combat does not cancel your focus.

Jane Doe — Museum

Jane Doe stands in front of the Museum. This is a ground-level talk; no roof dynamite required for the quest itself. Museum robberies still need two players later—quest rescue is separate.

Guest 417 — Prison

Guest 417 is inside the Prison near the Hunt event presentation / hype zone. Police can walk in freely. Prisoners may need a short escape detour if they started elsewhere and got locked out of interior paths—usually it is simpler to join Police for this one NPC.

Rewards

Completing all five rescues progresses the Jailbreak Hunt quest rewards:

• Badge progress associated with the Roblox 20 Jailbreak quest (Bandit-themed badge path — A Bandit’s Bandana).
• Guest 417 spoiler / wing style limited cosmetic tied to the rescue finale.

Return to the Event Hub reward flow if the experience sends you back for the avatar item handoff. Check your inventory/avatar items after the final rescue rather than spam-retrying NPCs. Claim before September 28, 2026—post-event servers will not keep the Hunt window open.

Best practices

• Play Police for free helicopter access and unrestricted Prison entry.
• Mark landmarks mentally: Donut, Jewelry, Station, Museum, Prison.
• Hold interact long enough—tap spam can fail the rescue prompt.
• Ignore PvP mid-rescue; finish the hold, then leave.
• If an NPC does not highlight, move closer; some only ping at short range.
• Do not postpone until the final hours of September 28—queue times and full servers spike near event ends.
• After the event, spend leftover time on season contracts—see Season 33 and Money Making.

Troubleshooting

• Cannot interact: Switch teams, rejoin server, or step directly into the highlight.
• Cannot reach Jewelry roof: Use heli, neighboring rooftops, or the store’s climb points.
• Lost Guest 417: Search Prison interior beside the Hunt display—not outside the far highway.
• No reward yet: Confirm all five rescues completed, then follow hub claim steps.
• Event missing: Confirm you are inside the Sep 17–28 2026 window; outside those dates the Hunt NPCs will not spawn.

After The Hunt

Event cosmetics are time-sensitive; robberies are forever. Once the bandana/spoiler is secured:

1. Redeem any live Codes.
2. Run a Jewelry → Rising City base loop.
3. Practice escapes you skipped while on Police.
4. Review Controls if interact holds feel awkward on your device.

The Hunt is a landmark tour disguised as a quest. Finish the five rescues carefully before September 28, claim the Bandit’s Bandana path rewards and Guest spoiler, then return to normal criminal grinding with a better mental map of Jailbreak’s classic buildings.
